The head coach of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, has made the decision to recruit Kai Havertz with the belief that the player can take on multiple roles within the team. The former Chelsea star may continue to be utilized in various positions in the upcoming period.
A British journalist shared their opinion:
“I think there may be some Arsenal fans wishing that the team had signed James Maddison instead of Havertz. However, I don’t believe that Mikel Arteta will do so.”
Havertz is still facing difficulties at Arsenal.
“I believe that Arteta still has faith in Havertz, as he recruited the player because Havertz can fulfill more roles than Maddison. However, I am still not entirely sure how Havertz will adapt to Arsenal’s lineup, what his best position is, and whether Arteta will have confidence in that.”
“At the beginning of the season, Arteta spoke about using Havertz in different roles and stated that Havertz feels comfortable doing so. We will see whether such tactics will continue to be applied or not.”
